Shoreline Serrano

Down by the docks, an old fisherman known as “El Verde” had a secret: a green sauce so fresh and zesty, it made even the simplest meals taste like a gourmet feast. He guarded the recipe in a green lagoon along the Missouri River like a pirate guards his treasure, until one night, a lonely river otter snuck into camp while he was sleeping on the riverbank and dropped the recipe on the front step of The Paddle Trap. El Verde never knew what happened to his secret recipe until he visited the restaurants patio on a hot summer day. As he took his first bite, his eyes widened and he just smiled. “Guess the river wanted to share”, he said, tipping his hat to the otter, wherever it was.

Try it on eggs, sandwiches, tacos, roasted veggies, pulled pork and anything that has any kind of cheese.
