It started with a challenge: who could make the best hot sauce on the river? No one expected mild mannered Pete to be the one. Known for more sunscreen than spice, he usually tapped out at black pepper. But that spring, he showed up with a rusty old flask labeled River No.9. Inside was a blend he had quietly perfected: garlic slow roasted in campfire coals, habaneros tamed just right, and a swirl of secret ingredients that made every bite taste like sunset over the river. A few weeks later, a dusty wooden crate floated up the dock at The Paddle Trap with a note in smudged handwriting that Rea “for those that know that flavor floats”… and our Riverbank Red has been a tabletop stable ever since. 

Try it on burgers, avocado toast, taco salad, mix with Ranch or Mayo for a Spicy Aioli.
